Bombay Sapphire is a brand of gin that was first launched in 1986 by English wine-merchant IDV. In 1997 Diageo sold the brand to Bacardi. Flavoured with ten botanicals: juniper berries from Tuscany, coriander seeds, angelica root, liquorice, Italian orris, cassia bark, Spanish almonds and lemon peel, Cubeb berries from Java and West African Grains of Paradise. Unusually, Bombay Sapphire is distilled using the vapour infusion method.

Tasting Notes
Color: clear
Nose: opens with touch of juniper, a ripe citrus and hints of spice
Palate: exceptionally smooth and allows the botanicals to open up one by one
Finish: bolder but retains the spirits brightness

Negroni, classic cocktail originating from Italy.
+30ml Bombay Sapphire Gin
+30ml Martini Rosso sweet vermouth
+30ml Campari
Method: Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir gently.
